Every fabric in the range goes through our test laundry for 200 cycles before it is allowed a product page. The page then tells you the weight, how much it shrank, and whether it pills. Sewn in Guimarães, Barcelos and Braga.
Anything feels lovely on the hanger. What matters is week forty.
Before a fabric is approved we run three garments through 200 domestic washes at 40 °C, tumble dried half the time and line dried the rest. We measure them before, after five and after the lot, photograph the surface for pilling and check every seam. The numbers on each product page are those measurements, not a mill’s brochure.
Roughly one fabric in three fails. You never see those.

Every fabric does one of these. We would rather you knew which before it arrives.
Brushing lifts fibres off the surface to make it soft. For the first three washes some of those fibres roll into pills. Wash inside out and it is over by the fourth. Pyjamas, lounge trousers, the camel robe.
The honeycomb weave tightens hard in its first wash and then holds. We cut every waffle piece 4% long for it, so buy your normal size and expect it to be roomy for a day.
Unbrushed loopback is stiff out of the box and gets better every wash for about a year. It never pills. If you want soft on day one, brushed is the answer; if you want soft in year three, this is.
Jersey twists at the seams if it is tumble dried hot. Linen creases within the hour. Wool and alpaca socks felt above 30 °C. Voile is a little sheer in strong light. None of it is a fault; all of it is written down.
Everything here is unisex and runs relaxed. If you wear a women’s 38 or a men’s S in most shops, take an S here; the size guide gives every garment’s flat chest, hip and length so you can check against something you already own.
A handful of pieces a season. Each one spent about four months in testing first.
Grams per square metre on every fabric, gauge on every knit. “Luxuriously soft” appears nowhere on this site.
A seam, cuff or waistband that gives up before its hundredth wash is repaired or replaced, postage on us.

No logos, no printed slogans, no external labels. A small woven size tab inside the seam and that is all.
A shade leaves the range, the final run is reduced against what it sold for over the previous 30 days. Nothing here is marked up to be marked down.
