Brushed on the inside so they are warm from the first wear, with a straight rather than tapered leg. Wide covered elastic with a drawstring, two deep side pockets and one on the back. They are the trousers people buy a second pair of.
Brushed-back cotton pills lightly in the first three washes. It is the loose fibres from brushing coming away, and it stops.
