All prices are in euros and include VAT at the rate applicable to EU consumers. Shipping is charged separately and shown before you confirm the order; the rates are on the shipping page.
Deliveries to the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway exclude import duty and local VAT, which the carrier collects from you on delivery.
Where a garment is shown at a reduced price alongside a higher one, the higher figure is the price we ourselves charged for that garment for at least 30 consecutive days in the six months before the reduction. We do not raise a price in order to show it crossed out.
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it, and the contract is formed, when we send the dispatch confirmation. Before then we may decline an order — if a size has sold out or a price was listed in error, for example — and refund anything already paid.
Fabrics are dyed in batches. A garment ordered later may differ slightly in shade from one ordered earlier or from the photographs. Brushed fabrics pill in their first washes and shrinkage occurs within the figure stated on each product page. These are properties of the materials, described on the site, and are not defects.
Payment is collected at checkout by our payment provider. We never receive or store full card numbers.
Delivery times are estimates in working days. Risk passes to you when the parcel is delivered. If a parcel goes missing, tell us and we will pursue the carrier and either resend or refund.
As a consumer you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. We extend that to 30 days. Garments must be unworn, unwashed and have the size tab attached; socks must be unopened. Return postage is yours to pay unless the item was faulty or not what you ordered. We refund within 14 days of the goods reaching us, to the original payment method.
Under EU and Portuguese law you have a two-year right to goods that conform to the contract. Separately and in addition, we guarantee the construction of every garment — seams, hems, cuffs, ribbing, waistbands, elastic, drawstrings, buttons — for 100 domestic washes, repairing or replacing at our cost including postage. The guarantee does not cover pilling, shrinkage within the stated figure, colour change from washing or sun, felting from washing above 30 °C, snags, or moth damage. Full details are on the shipping and returns page. Neither guarantee limits your statutory rights.
The text, photographs, garment designs and product names on this site are ours. Every garment is made to our own patterns and specification. We do not make, sell or imitate other companies’ designs or trade marks, and nothing here is offered as a version of another brand’s product.
We are liable for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded under Portuguese law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Write to hello@wearelaras.com. We acknowledge within 2 working days and aim to resolve within 14. If we cannot agree, you may use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform or a Portuguese consumer arbitration centre (CACCL in Lisbon).
Portuguese law governs these terms and the Portuguese courts have jurisdiction. This does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
